The stones are Green Mojave Turquoise from Kingman Turquoise mines in Arizona. This is a composite stone consisting of scrap turquoise left after making turquoise beads that they dye, mix with bronze and resin, compress under high pressure to make blocks that are then cut into slabs for making cabochons for jewelry making. It is a great use of what would have otherwise been wasted-and it’s pretty!

The stones are set in fine silver and sterling silver with sterling silver oval “dangles. The earrings measure about 2” long.
